Bark Camp Lake trip today, took the wrong turn and spent 8 miles on forest service roads that were not in good shape

 

Last time we left off here:



Continuing on with the coal bin cleanup. The old bin was there about 15 years, lots of stuff grew up behind it.
...and junk too...



The almost 50 year old Ford on the job.



The modern garden tractors have 20+ HP, the Ford "only" has 14, they must be big horses. We can do this all day.



Not done but showing improvement with some blade work, I dragged the metal up back.
The brush got trailered to the hedgerow with the New Holland.



You know you did a decent bit of work when you get in the shower and the water at your feet is dark.

 

Lol, it certainly felt that way!

Got another 3rd place ribbon at another fair, don't feel so bad about this one because there was a lot of competition. Good morning, friends.

 

We went to a 18 wheeler show Friday afternoon, they do a 37 mile convoy. There were over a 100 trucks, all of them were nice. Here's a few (pic heavy).

 

Andy Griffith's police car was leading it, then the Bandit was not far behind

We watched all the trucks go by and started home, stopped at Chic-Fil-A and ate supper and could here the air horns blowing, we wound up catching them again on our way home on the route so we stopped and watched em again.
