There are many alternative treatments to statins with little or no side effects. Some include fibrates, nexletol, bile acid binding resins, and others. Even omega 3 can help lower triglycerides. If you continue to have problems with cholesterol lowering meds ask your physician to refer you to an endocrinologist.

Good afternoon car show folks! JUST over the 50 limit again, so two posts, BUT, some new vehicles I'm pretty sure from the Pistons at the Park show at Pflugerville; some of everything!

That's my old Decked on Chris's truck. He flashed my ECU up to current, and that difference alone was huge and nice. Think I'm going to forgo my "free gift" tune, and stick with the guy that didn't want me to pull the stereo!

    Afternoon all:

Thanks for the car pics, again, always find something interesting in them.

Well, I was right, 3 of us in the woods yesterday and not even a tail! :( We really don't expect to see that much right now, more like scouting, hopefully mid month things will pick up.

Remember if it has tits, tires, or technology, you’re going to have trouble. :)

My career was in IT. I can’t believe how poorly some applications are designed and how poorly tested they are.

Nice! Here's a few for you folks who happen to like old(er) Pontiacs. From the 34th annual Pontiac Uprising held, this year, in Ark City, Kansas. Actually Arkansas City but hardly anyone uses it's full name.

    And here's a rare one, a hemi-headed Pontiac.

Also, it was held at Mid-America Dragway so there was racing.

I know I don't post in this thread often, or hardly at all actually but I am 70 (ahem) and a half:laugh: so I figured it would be OK.

I enjoyed the Pontiac pictures , this is only my opinion but I think GM should have dropped the Buick line and kept the Pontiac line.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/photo bombers. Whatever I picked up is still working its way through my system; sore throat, then stuffy head, now it's into my chest. I did a C-word test, it came back negative. (They're giving away test kits again if anyone is interested.) I'm going to do another one in a day or so. The latest C-word symptoms sound exactly like a cold, so who knows what I have. I guess the good news is that I shouldn't lose my sense of taste -- or wind up on a ventilator!

It really sucks to feel lousy right now too. We're having absolutely perfect weather. Ugh.

Chevy and Buick have the same bland lines now, the Pontiac had some caricature with the front ends.
