Homelink rearview mirrors can be installed but pricey. I mounted my remote in the coin holder left of the steering wheel. Works for me.

I have a Homelink Auto dimming mirror I bought off ebay.

Search the forum, there's more info out there. I just don't have time (at work) to look it up for you.

I have one on my TRD OR SR5, but I got my truck used so the previous owner may have installed it.

Ok, I ll keep looking.. The dealership said it had something to do with the console on the ceiling of the truck?

The truck I ordered has that back up camera in the mirror, and I pobablly dont need it becuase I am adding Nav with camera.....

So you guys are saying that it is the rear view mirror where homelink is mounted, because in all the catalogs it looks like its on the ceiling console like my wifes 4runner....

anyone no a part # , so I can search it out?

Let me know if you wanna sell your stock Camera setup?
If so PM me and maybe we can work something out?

I have been thinking about adding a backup system.
I would love to have the stock look.

I like this location, but anyone have any ideas of where else this could be located??? The back panel needs a space roughly 3" x 4"

easy peasy -- autodim is wired to ignition and homelink is wired to constant power. All of the connections were made in the overhead console. Compass/Temp are ignition power and the map lights are constant.

..... ground wire is through the chinsy sheet (drilled a hole) metal that the console is mounted to.

I could have just flipped the top cover around but i wanted the confirmation of the red light and I wanted it out of the way as much as possible.
