    Anybody ever install a backup camera in your 2nd Generation Tacoma? I just got a 2011 and I'm spoiled by the backup cameras in my other vehicles. Did you replace the radio and install a new one with a backup screen? Did you just mount a new screen? Please share any experiences you may have with this, including any equipment brands and models. Thanks very much.

    3in lift, Tow package, Any time 400w inverter, in cab outlet, vinyl floor, roof rack
    I went with this, cos I’m cheap and lazy. But it works great so far.

    I and at $69 cad is fair.

    pioneer and some Amazon cam that attaches to the license plate, works fine, but currently not activating when i hit reverse.

    Before I up graded my stock 6 disc radio I had something very similar setup and price point like this one. The actual camera was mounted inside of the cap of my truck so I could keep an eye on my trailer and dirt bikes while traveling. I wired it up with a toggle so I could turn it on when I wanted/needed too. Since then I installed a Joying head unit along with their backup camera to free up that cubby.
