A little over 3 1/2 hours in the doc's office and getting my eyes dilated were were worth it to hear the doctor say, "everything looks good." Until next year, hopefully.

    Good Morning/Afternoon :hattip:

Took the dog for a walk. Got some grass cut. Truck is getting packed up for another WI TW get together. Thursday thu Sunday.
This one is in far northern WI.
Fall colors, old abandoned fire towers, deep fried whitefish livers and general campfire shanganigans.

    Looks like a great time.
It sure seems like when TW folks get together there's lots of real good food.:hungry:

wow so much going on since yesterday morning!

for all of you doing the health tests we all live with as we get old/broken..... glad to hear there were no horrible results that i read.
if i missed a bad one? fill me in.

    Weesa:
are you thinking about moving into that 30' camper full time?
do you have one of those jobs you can work from anywhere?

    on that mattress front======

well the split or 2 mattress thing is out. my wife sleeps on top of me, against me, across me & every other way you can think of. until she gets hot then she goes all the way till she gets to the far edge & works her way back. its always been this way since the very first nite we spent together. sick or not sick doesnt matter. even when shes super mad. she always wants to be able to touch.
so the split mattress doesnt work, cause then you are laying in a crack.

softer mattress means we are sinking, harder mattress means i just dont sleep. & since sleep has hated me my whole life? YUP you guessed it. we have a brick for a bed again.

good news is with as many times as my back has been injured & now worked on? im supposed to have a hard bed anyway. bad news? sleep hates me. think this is part of the reason ive always been so busy & sleep deprived.... cant sleep anyway.

    living the dream every day!

I’ve had severe migraines most of my life. Ocular migraines are the weirdest, but just like you, I don’t usually get a headache with them. Good luck!

We went with a Verlo v7 with a firm mattress and a soft pillow-top. My wife likes soft mattresses and I like something with the same characteristics as 3/4” plywood. I never had a strong preference one way or the other, but this is next-level comfort. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it.
