Should this cable be touching the rear leaf?

    I’m assuming it’s the brake cable should it be resting on the leaf springs like this?
    2001 with 3.5 inch suspension lift.

    Should the ebrake cable be touching the leaf spring, no.

    It's not supposed to- sounds like you either have a really tall leaf spring pack or a lift block that's causing the e-brake cable to contact the leaf spring. If you search- a few members have made small extensions for the bell crank. The bell crank is the little curved lever that the e brake cable attaches to.

    Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
    I built some extenders out of some flat-bar. Searched it and found a detailed write-up on exactly what size and where the holes should be. Found it on Tacomaworld. Working like a charm. Had to do this because of the OME Dakar pack.

    You missed the post in your other thread; 3.5" is too much lift

    Most likely why your brake line is touching
