All of my friends growing up had siblings... made me very glad I never did.

 

My brothers were no problem at all.

My sister, being born some years after me (she's the second oldest), was always the one taking my shit.

I still have my old Gameboy that she grabbed one day (as a toddler) and threw into the bathtub my mom was getting ready for her.

I played Gameboy for the next few years with 1/4" the top of the screen being blank.

Not knowing your healthbar in Mortal Kombat really made you good at the game

 

Ya never really know, that's an interesting dynamic to grow up with. Big sister by a couple years, parents more experienced with parenting but with the 1st child there in the mix... Who knows maybe he'll be huge immediately and he'll be the big brother no matter what haha.

 

growing up we were always at odds, but as an adult and getting older I appreciate them more. But yeah as kids it was constant mayhem. No idea how my mom handled it considering my dad was pretty much just the provider type. And the looming threat of punishment my mom would use when we got out of hand lol.

One member in another thread has his number, and they just talk about trucks and other odd stuff the same way he would here.

Really just not talking to anyone else on the forum it seems.

 

I had to run home last night to help my MIL put Sofia down because all this craziness has her pretty overwhelmed, didn't get her to bed until 9pm and just learned that she apparently woke up at 4am and my MIL just let her stay up oh today is going to be fun

 

does waking up earlier not equate to going to sleep earlier... or does that just mean she becomes a hellspawn at afternoon?

 

It does not unfortunately. If she goes to bed late she'll still wake up at the same time usually. And if she gets up too early with us she knows she has to stay in bed but she's playin grandma's soft spots.

She stopped napping early, like around a year and a half so she really needs to get a solid 10-11 hrs of sleep at night or she breaks down pretty quick during the day

 

Same for Olivia, it took 2 months but when her bottom teeth started coming in the routine went out the window. I think I woke up 5 times last night.

 

Lol and I told Ryan I hope River runs the same schedule as Theo; he's been teething and he still sleeps all night.

Doesn't even cry during the day either unless he's just fussy and tired but the teething ain't even phasing him.

 

10-11, fuck if I ever get that much again it'll be because of a coma or death.

 

You are a lucky man. Olivia is having no fun with the teaching fase. She wakes up crying. She will drink about an ounce and pass back out and repeat ever hour.

 

Damn dude; are you running night shift or is Monica splitting it with you?

He sleeps from 8pm to 7am but I feed him at 11pm (so he eats while sleeping) before I call it a night for myself.

Today he didn't get up until 745am.

 

I got up from 10pm to about 2am Monica did 3am to 6am then she slept till 8ish.

She is wide awake now and playing with her toys. She has a lot on her agenda.
