Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so what did I do wrong?

The light comes on when I am going down the road. When I cut it off the light will not be on again until a few miles down the road. Never had this problem until I installed the Bull Bar yesterday. Could I have knocked something loose?

The airbag sensor is up there by the radiator on the driver's side , any chance it was damaged ?

On my truck, there is two airbag sensors on the top of the crush zone bumper behind the plastic bumper. One on the left and one on the right. Make sure they are plugged in tight and in good condition. Check the wires leading away from them too.

I am thinking I might put one on my truck eventually, so do they mount to the bumper or the frame? I am curious to see the answer to this problem before I buy one.

They look fine, don't see how they could have been touched. It there anything except those sensors. Could the extra weight cause this?

Take a picture... Are you sure bumper or sensors are bolted. Those sensors detect impact so if something "knocks" (like loose bumper on the frame) they could be getting false readings.

Added some pics to my gallery, dont know how much you can see. I can stand on the bar and try to move it and it is bolted on good, does not move.. But don't know about vibrations when on these back roads.

Can't see much with the pics, too small for my old eyes...
But just curious what bull bar you just added and what suspension you have. those front sensors are deceleration sensors so they get affected by impact but they can be also affected if your front is sagging too much. Do you have stronger suspension on the front?

hmm only 32 lb so it should not be heavy enough.
Really the Only choices here are to remove bull bar and see if light pops out again. Or go to dealer to get code read.

Actually you can read code yourself... with out spending money, here is the link to how to do it.
Read code and post it.. It should help to narrow down the problem.

NP sorry for not having anything specific.
Also I know you try to stand on the bull bar but did you try lifting up and side to side. maybe wiggles just one direction. Just thinking outloud. Hopefully once you get the code its going to be easy solution
