Unfortunately, I’m probably not the best resource because this is my first time with a lifted truck. I will say I don’t notice a huge difference from stock, but it is slightly stiffer and I have some bumpsteer. Most likely that’s more the tires and alignment but that’s what I’ve been trying to work through. I have heard the N3 lift is NOT worth it. I went with the Monotube (M1) which was an extra $300 but worth it to have something with a smoother ride and more longevity.

This is 100% my opinion so take that for what it is worth.....regarding a lift, I would save and pay the extra money for a reputable company that *most* can agree are worth it. The suspension isn't the place I would "cheap out" on (not that you should cheap out in general but you get what I am saying) I'm speaking from experience as I have tried various setups/brands. I had very good luck with OME and Bilsteins on both of my previous 4Runners. I'm also thinking of going Dobinsons for the Taco - if not, then most likely Ironman. I would also stay away from other name brands where you pay more for the name than you do the goods. Again, that's just my .02 and I am sure there's data to both support and refute my opinion. I would also think about what you want to do with your truck as that plays into what direction you go as well but thats a deep dive.

To add on to this, you need to ask yourself what the point of the lift is. Is it for looks or do you plan on taking it off road? Do you plan to tow with it? How much lift are you looking to get?

Looks great! Did you go with the 5100's or 6112's? What did you add to the rear suspension?

Agreed all the way - For what it is worth... I've had the truck for a year now and its all highways and backroads. Daily driver. If I was building a rock crawler I would steer away from RC. Works for my general use! Anything more would be overkill.

Cleaned up as the long range has no rain in sight. Last day with this Tacoma until I hand it over to the wife, get my Tundra TRD OR tomorrow.

    IMG_3138.jpg

little size comparison of tires. 295/70r18 for the new tundra vs 265/75r16 on the Tacoma.

Had it for a couple of months now. I’ve wanted a Tacoma for a decade; I adore this thing.

Do you have any more photos? I have the same truck with a topper and have been considering a level kit to improve the look.

Bilestein 5100's. Not in the picture you quoted (which was stock wheels & tires), but have since added Falken Wildepeak AT3Ws in 255/80r17 on RR6-H 17" -12 wheels.

How are the tires treating you? I’m interested in the pizza cutter size myself

Here are a few! Since that original picture I picked up a super pacific and I think it sits perfect with the added weight of the camper
