Kind of surprised there aren't more engine changes. I thought this was supposed to be their big re-vamp year and super charger and yadda yadda. Also surprised they're going DCT as standard in Europe. Oh and the 19" front is a wild change to me. Just a real confusing update Honda, seems like a step back in a world with GS1300's and 1290's.

Depending on the situation, I will either move over and let them pass, or I will wait for a moment to safely GTFO and get far away from them.

I have never taken a mirror, and don't plan to, though I can get the frustration/anger that leads someone to do so. I was coming home a couple weeks ago, lane splitting between to dead stopped lanes of traffic on city streets. Coming up to an intersection, the right lane splits, where you can go straight, or veer off to the right to make the turn. Most people in that right lane veer to the right. So I saw the lane would be open after that split, and move forward to get into that lane. I guess some dude in an SUV in the left lane didn't like that, and as I was coming up to pass him, and swerved left to cut me off with no warning or signal. I wasn't going that fast so had plenty of space to slow down safely, then switched to the left lane to go around him when it was clear. As I passed him, I looked at his window and saw him shaking his head motioning me to slow down, using a hand signal.

That's the only time I ever wanted to break someone's mirror. I didn't though.

I loved my WRX. Traded it in just before warranty expired to upgrade to the tacoma. the AWD was amazing on that car, as far as i know it's just as good in any of their offerings.

I think the only AWD that comes close to Subaru's is Audi Quattro. or at least that was the case when i owned my WRX.

I have to respectfully disagree as I've had positive experience with both the slush box automatic and CVT WRX. First off I think any automatic is boring to drive. I love a manual transmission and been driving them since I had my learners permit ages ago. Since then I've owned at least 15+ vehicles that were stick shift and will always have one in the fleet.

Both my WRX's are automatics, I know pretty weird when your truck is stick and "sports car" is auto lol. But the WRX is my wife's daily driver and that's what she prefers. Our current one is a 2017 with the CVT. It's still enjoyable to drive... all stock but sounds nice, smooth power, handles great. Definitely more character than her previous rides (Camry and Maxima). Also didn't buy it to be a race car, just wanted a compact AWD sedan that was a bit more fun than the average.

The potential cost of fixing a CVT is a negative I agree with that, time will tell there. I guess my point is don't rule out an auto Subie

The auto subies aren't bad...just more of a plain jane car to drive lol. One of my friends got a CVT WRX, and enjoyed it, but regretted not getting a manual just for the fun factor. They aren't bad by any means though.

Obligatory throwback. This must have been taken a week or so before I traded it in. Always wanted one of the hatchbacks though :(

The added cost to repair is the primary deterrent for me on the CVTs, so we are in agreement there. The comments about the CVT cutting power to preserve itself are more directed to something that might actually go off road, and would apply less to a WRX.

Edit: I regret trading my 2017 WRX. I think they perfected it in that year only.

Oh yeah, if the car wasn't my wife's it would absolutely have a clutch. I just wanted to share my experience with them. Also strangely enough, both were purchased sight unseen and had them delivered since they were out of state ('08 from Nebraska, '17 from Illinois). Pic from right before we sold the '08

It’s not allowed here in WA either but cops don’t care, not like they could come after you anyway unless on a motorcycle themselves. Plus, there’s a a no pursuit law here unless for active violent felony escapes

After about 109 miles this past weekend, i have come to realize my rear brake is gone. The piston froze in the master. So, i’m soaking it in an attempt to clean the bore out and install a new piston with new seals. I’ll flush the rest of the rear brake and see if that fixes it, if not, i’m ordering a whole new rear caliper and master.

Have you ran the Kenda Klassic before? I almost exclusivly run the Trackmaster 2 on the rear of my dirbike (and have ran kenda k761 on the grom). Good tires at great prices.

Wondering if you guys who run dirt bikes might have any ideas...been thinking about it all day

Dropped my dirtbike off to have that clutch adjuster replaced since the last one sheared off. Also having him look over the internals, as the bike is strangely hard to kick start. He tried as well and confirmed something seems off.

it can't be the valves because he just checked/adjusted them a couple months ago. He mentioned maybe fuel pump but I don't think that would be an issue if the bike runs fine once it's started. Crowdsourcing opinions
