@pearing whats your opinion regarding El Tarasco on the tiers of Ashland Mexican dining?

    IMG_6664.jpg

Update: It was pretty good but they put mushrooms in the fajitas? Weird never seen that before.

They are second tier. La Menarca is by far the best we have. There is another one in Washburn called Santa Leyenda that is very similar to El Tarasco. They are all in bred as these three cooks worked together to start the original restraunt El Dorado... then split up and made three that were kinda the same. La Menarca is the best of the three.

Hey-you are (were) a half mile from my house. Warm bed, shower and all... Or a much nicer yard to camp in with all the privacy you could want... Friends and family-no accounting for the behavior!

Hmm good to know thanks! I almost stopped at Santa Leyenda last night before camp, wish I did for comparison.

Probably but not sure yet. I’m here at Vaughn library going to see if I can quickly BS my way through homework so I can play the rest of the weekend. Will get back to you on that. Just tried to stalk you at high school but you’re already gone maybe? Dafuq is up with kids dressed like they’re going to the rodeo? Seems out of place lol.

Washburn HS... not Ashland. I am here until 4:00, sadly. There is a pretty strong redneck bent up here. Lots of farm(s) too.

So for the crew who went out to Moab this spring. We got turned back on Top of The World (I broke.) Where we turned back looked like a rock wall (as I remember it), but watching videos of the Easter Jeep Safari guys going through there it doesn't look right. Did we have a missed turn some where? Doesn't seem possible. Or... did I just make it SO big in my mind? Dave said it was way worse than he remembered from last year, and I cannot find video evidence to support what my mind says I saw. I am just feeeeeming for no reason about this, so thought I would ask. Looks like Trail Mater had to pull a jeep with a broken differential out of there this summer... glad I was at least able to get back down.

I messaged the mods and was told they are working to fix a bug regarding PMs. Not sure if specific to this one convo or all convos. If anyone else is having issues well now you know why.

Well there's that too, but in this case it's not me!

I don't like the angle it's at, and I have no idea how long it is. Taking it to my buddy who installed them tomorrow to learn more.

I agree, that ledge was huge, at least 5 feet. Not one video I've seen looks like what we saw.

Wow... I knew that the Broncos has issues, but I didn't realize catastrophic engine failure was on the list.

Interesting first comment on the article:
"After 120 years in business and a pioneer of automobile mass production.....Ford doesn't know how to make valves or valve keepers.....or head gaskets, transmission seals, serviceable engine wo taking the cab off, throttle bodies causing limp mode, transmissions. I think my next vehicle will be a non union Toyota."

For acknowledges “487 warranty claims, and 809 engine exchanges.” Hmmm, I would have expected those numbers to line up better.
