    Been reading the aux high beam thread.. Hella 700ff with hi watt bulbs are brighter than dd max! About $100 all in for a pair vs $500 for the dd.

    I would happily run them, they just weren't as popular when i went down the Rigid rabbit hole. I've had them for almost a decade now. Baja Designs makes some really good lights!

    Yeah, my ditch lights are something else, LED Colight. I dunno. Been fine. And can swap in yellow lens for winter.

    Only reason I purchased the BD lightbar, was, that is what my winch bumper is set up for. Nothing was close enough without busting out the welder.... no regrets though... the amount of light it puts off.. is.. wow. When I shut it off for traffic, it's like I have no headlights... and I'm running yellow bar.

    Okay, so I'm gonna tell a story but I'm gonna say up front the intention is not to stir shit about a potential hotbutton topic. I respect everyone's right to hold an opinion and to live their life how they want to live it.

    Just caught up with a buddy of mine. He has this family heirloom flintlock that his great great great great whoever carried on the Oregon Trail back in the day. Keeps it hung above the mantel.

    His wife's BFF/BFF husband came over for dinner with their kid. After a couple hours BFF notices the musket and asks if it's real.

    Buddy starts telling the story behind it and BFF/husband FLIP OUT because they can't believe he would leave a gun out with kids in the house.

    The kid is an infant who can't even hold his head up yet.

    My buddy says "Look, if that baby has the determination and physical strength to climb up there to get it, and make his own black powder with stuff from around the house, and manages to shoot someone, then there's nothing anyone could have done and the only answer would possibly be 'The Lord works in mysterious ways.'"

    They didn't like that one bit and threatened to "report [him] for child endangerment".
