Bronco needs nothing, that's why I bought it. I just put gas in it and go. Bike is the free time eater, and it's spent riding it and usually not working on it. :p Really though if it's lasted this long and the plugs not going to back out it's really not worth fixing. It will never catastrophically fail between your welds and my goop. I'll let it ride till I can decide on what FF axle I want to go with.

The wheelers super bumps have long lived on my truck. Not sure if they are still available with all the buying/selling of the company. They are for second gens but work perfect with a little trimming.

Side note: if you return from lifted to stock with them your truck is ALWAYS on the stops lol

Pump it out bruh. Besides experience adds character, glitter is extra character.

Lol yeah I never liked the idea of those.

One of my rear durobumps started to break apart, but that was largely due to the axle not being completely centered and therefore striking off-center on the bumpstop pad. Curtis was awesome though and replaced them with the updated versions.

    Why?

I've had super bumps in the front for like 7 years and they are doing just fine. My rear ones have seperated from the mounting plate at least once, but I was able to epoxy them back on and been fine.

I shaved my fronts 3/4'' and then made an angled shim for them so they hit fairly straight on.

Certainly have lasted longer than any durobump install I've seen from folks that actually use their trucks on a regular basis. :notsure: Plus they work good.

I'm looking into a rear view camera and in cab switch bank soon. Do you like the mirror and cameras you used enough to recommend them? If so, what did you use?
How did you make the head liner mounted 6 bay switch bank work? I was thinking about sourcing a 4runner overhead console for that, but yours looks like it may be simpler.

Good to know, I'll hit him up.

Because for once I don't want to custom make shit. And I don't have a ton of lift, so I'd probably be sitting on them all the time.

The guys has a bronco, he prefers inferior products! :stirthepot: only drawback is the Allen key fills with dirt and so if you want to take them off it's a pain.

haha get a new truck if you don't want to make shit :p

But seriously, I doubt you have less lift than me and I don't sit on them.

I actually have never had an issue with that. I thought I would when I've removed them, but it really wasn't that bad to get it cleaned out surprisingly.

Dirt in an allen head is an easy fix. Dental pick and brake clean. Bonus points for the brake clean bouncing out and straight into your eyes.

True story, so much of my shit is custom and while I like it for some cool stuff, I think bump stops shouldn't be one of those.

Yeah I know, i hear that. They joys of own 20+ year old vehicles.

Idk when you bought your duros but I think he changed the compound so they'd last longer? not sure though.

well I don't remember when they came out, but I know he tweaked them to stop them from shearing quite so easily. I think also at one point he had a "HD" or "Expedition" version or something that was supposed to be more hardcore.

Yeah I dug through his original thread and I was in his first batch he ever made. Kinda impressed it lasted 5 years when he altered the formula since the original batch.

I would like to try the front LCA bump too
It's definitely is a better ride with the durobump, right up until they leave the chat

@El Taco Diablo cut some super bumps on an angel and slapped them up front before going long travel. I liked that idea and even asked if he wanted to ship them a while back.

(I realize I called my Durobumps super bumps the other day when talking about it on my build thread I should probably edit that. It gets confusing when you have both)

I've seen a few people doing the Durobump dif mounts lately and have wondered how they compare. If I drop my dif again it will hopefully be for a front locker and gears

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I ended up doing the (trimmed) Superbumps on the front of the LCAs, with the Durobumps on the back of the UCAs. It rode pretty well like that.

    These are better though

I emailed Curtis and he got back to me within 20 mins and legit already shipped them out. A great dude who clearly stands behind his products.
