All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Ok, many of us have thought exactly what you’re saying. Keep the old girl, she deserves to make it to..yada yada mileage.
    Or
Allow yourself to experience something new, which may in turn help you move closer to your goal of longer rides.

There is a reason Chuck rides the FJR. Not to say the Versys couldn’t do all of that. However, you owe it to yourself to take a good ride on an FJR…not just around the block.

The sport bike category is always intriguing. I swing on both ends of that spectrum from RC390 to a 1290r.
It’s a slippery slope my friend.

What about trying a smaller displacement R3 and get the FJR!!! Keep the Kawa.

I'm actually looking at Ninja 400s as a track bike as well. I'm just not sure I can justify both an FJR and a Versys at the same time.

Cool. I ordered it yesterday. For the price I had to give it a shot.
They have another style in a large that I was interested in but no matter how much i puffed my chest out, wasn't gonna fill it. Surprisingly enough though, my waist size is perfect for a large. :notsure::p

How many miles are you at now?

I just broke 50k on my BMW last week lol. Hoping to crest 100k eventually

I think all us sport dudes swing to both ends of the spectrum in this regard lol. Constantly torn between the "no replacement for displacement" and the "more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow" mindsets lol.

I can easily say I have the most fun racing about 6+ people on pit bikes. I mean I love all of them, but the fun factor is top shelf on those little jammers in the berms.

That being said…I am looking for another big vtwin lol

haha it seems to be the most fun is with pit bikes or similar sized bikes.

Buddy of mine recently turned me onto the Ohvale's. If I had the funds, that would be a blast lol

Those are sweet. They have proper geometry for racers to actually practice on.

I want this bad ever since I let go of my ball burning 1190r. I can easily justify this…my gf rides with me occasionally.

    race ya there

Yup. just a hair pricey for what you get but for racing purposes they're great.

As for the KTM...if you can justify it, you can buy it

or at least that's what I always tell myself.

I wonder how many T7's have been bought just from people watching his vids. Dude is incredible.

That said, wonder how many wrecks have happened from the same folks watching his vids and thinking they can do that shit

I hope I can finish the ride. Told my wife about it and said don’t worry I’m going with Chuck lol

And you should definitely go for the IBR!

Totally agree - legit group of motorcyclists in this thread. Nice variety of bikes, experience level, and great knowledge base. A big meet would be epic
