I’ll have to measure the width.

Sounds good I think the others are the same as of now. If you want to I can do it though.

Press is limited to 18” max. Can bend 3/16 full width I think 1/4 is 12” wide max.

Yeah I think she was probably texting too. Like immediately had her info out and apologized and almost even said it lol. I have a lot of sentimental value for the truck as my dad had a midsized when I was a kid but in the end it’s just stuff I guess.

lol yeah i pulled the sensor back through as best I could and the alert pop up went away, just doesn’t beep if I’m gonna hit something. Nbd, I use my eyes not my ears to park lol.

Yeah Matt, I haven’t been hit in a while so I’m just not sure how to go about taking a check instead. Does it matter for insurance if I get rid of bsm/parking sonar?
Anyone here have experience with that?

I wouldn't doubt there is a lot of texting and driving going on lately. Yea those sensors can be a pain, at least the alert went away. Hopefully no significant damage to the truck

I'm pretty sure they just appraise the damage, cut the check, and send you on your merry way? The real question is wether or not the truck will let you delete the bsm stuff, I know '18+ gets real unhappy when you mess with the tss sensors and I'm not sure if it lumps the bsm in with that

I think it might depending on what the rear sensors are used for. ADAS is its own animal. New cars should be calibrated after even a windshield replacement

That's how it was with my Mazda. I had a receiver on there, some dude was changing out of his boots  and rear ended me. I cracked a license plate light and they added in a bumper replacement. Still had one good plate light, so F it. They cut a check and off I went. Though to be fair, the check amount was for what they thought the damage was. If they got in there and found out the whoosiewhatsits and flux capacitors were also toasted, they'd add those into the repair bill to be covered, but they can't know unless they tear into it.

edit - I have an Autel TPMS tool w/ a code reader, and also have a bluetooth OBD2 (FOR ANDROID ONLY...) if you need to borrow either to check codes/etc @Merling
