Haha there was a good scoop hood that looked too goofy so I just painted inside the engine bay and went hoodless. I'm a sucker for a sale and hobby lobby had their models all 40% off so I stocked up. Should be plenty to entertain me for a couple weeks...

Currently in the process of painting the charger.

Man, each year it's been between 2-3 business that shut down with pre-existing, paid for orders

New thread on Southern Style Offroad (never even heard of them) being under new management, with a note stating had it not been acquired...those orders would've gone unfulfilled with no means of a refund :bananadead:

Offroad business are a tough segment, things require actual build times and effort and the people who have the build skill never seem to have any business or communication acumen so... we end up with lead times in the months or years and closed doors.

I'll make sure to just tap into my trust fund and get a specialized mechanic to do at-home visits to service my truck :luvya:

And that's the real sad part

It's not surprising just how quickly something can become so popular that you suddenly have multiple orders in the bank, but small shops really need to have a limit as to how many orders actually come through (since everything's digitized)

Then again I understand they need to cover their overhead and all

    Like you said, tough segment

I'm mister break even over here, no extra bank acct and no loans. I'd have to have a lot of outstanding and past due loans to get myself into a 6.0/6.4 :p

The 6.0/6.4 is the reason why you'd go into debt :bananadead:

@Ozark_RegCab I haven't seen you post about any issues; you've learned to just turn the radio up and ignore them huh?

Oh no doubt but to go pick one up would be because your credit isn't good enough for the 6.7 anyway haha.

I do like the attitude of 6.0/6.4 drivers on their forums though, they know the trucks are nightmares but they stand firm that it's cheaper to keep rebuilding them than to finance a new truck... and you know these days they might be right.

Having extra vehicles just makes it so much more hassle-free though

And knowing it drove perfect the entire time during ownership just gives me that feel good feeling

He had planned to take it to Texas this November for a family wedding; that's around when Stephanie and I planned to drive out there and back and visit @Wulf along the way but yeah plans changed :anonymous:
