i like to go fast... but i've found that quickly accelerating off stoplights and such really makes absolutely no differenc in time to get places... so just don't accelerate qucikly, you'll get where you're going at the same time.... let the taco cruise...

well about all of your options have been listed lol

    1. Change oil on the regular
    2. Change air filter on the regular
    3. Exhaust
    4. CAI

The last two will give minimal, if any results ;)

4.56 gears, rear trutrac,DT header, 235/85r16 Duratracs, 2nd filter pulled, inter.wipers, Cruise control, Factory alum. whls/winter tires(2nd set), Afe pro Dry-S , Dumbo eared flaps cut down.
IF you are close to needing new tires, shop for a highway tread or all season tread. look at a lighter tire too. You'll do ok in dry dirt and gravel, but you wont really want to try offroading.youll gain 1 mpg perhaps over an AT tire. Also not worth the money unless you do a lot of pavement miles.

Other things , keep the psi up , coast to red lights the best you can ...WITHIN reason , lighten up a bit on the throttle , keep weight out , at next fluid change go synthetic. Lastly a tonneau cover can help or a cheap mod can be had with 1/4" plywood and the ol plastidip to cover it , bolt to the cleats or such.

RIP to my 08 Prerunner DC
For best MPG you need lots of stickers, stick on vents, and truck balls. Add all this up and it will give you 5-8 mpg better. Also are you in RDA mode. This makes the engine get much better mpg. When you get in turn the key to "on", roll down all windows, turn on radio to CD. Make sure you have a CD with Rebecca Black---Friday on it. Then crank it to 50 power and watch as everyone stares at your super economical car. As long as you drive like this you will get excellent mpg.
