I took my truck over to a friends brothers house that has an outside lift. Wow, did that make lubing the front and rear drive shafts a breeze, mmmmmm yeah it did. So much better than me laying on a concrete driveway trying to get it done. We also put the Factory skid plate(Squirrel prevention device) back on also. And the odometer finally turned over 150k miles on my 2003 DC.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Speaking of Durobumps... I have a set for sale. They come with Superbumps, BAMF LCA skids and a set of control arms with relatively new Whiteline bushings.

Looks good, and be Glad you have one to clean up and work on your truck in. I do most of my work in the drive way, and that sucks big time.

Wow, you must have "Deep" pockets and a hell of a lot of free time :), to work on all these trucks. How do you decide which one to drive on any given day. That decision alone would drive me nuts. But my hats off to you for keeping them out of the car crusher and the junk yards. One is enough for me, I'll spend my extra money on guns and reloading supplies.

That's a great question. I would imagine yes. Looks like it may be slightly inconvenient. I'll lyk when I get back to town and check lol

Not enough time served with it at this time to confidently say. I will say that the picture quality is incredible/day and night. Switching between the two cameras is also easy and convenient (but I just leave it on the rearview as my cap is not transparent. It's all a kit from wolfbox. Chinesium stuff, I'll update you later as per quality and how it holds up.

The 6 bay switch bank was a wild nightmare of a project. Totally worth it. I need to redo it a with a new plate as i botched the job at the end, and was fed up with doing the work.

So I bought a 6switch plate/ switches off of Amazon, used a micrometer to spec it out and 3D printed one with a .25" Thickness on the body (important for backspacing) and then I printed a back plate same dimensions, just big open hole, still .25" thick. I piloted holes through the back plate. cut out the headliner only enough for the switches and sandwiched the head liner between the two plates with some screws to assemble. after that it was wiring HELL to get all 6 switches plumbed up to the panel. If I did it again I'd do a little thicker .3 or .4" on the face plate.

New bilsteins, new tires, new air cleaner, new oil.
Truck sits ridiculously high now... might have to look into an AAL or new leaf packs.

Drove it around a little. The springs might still settle a little, but I did some measurements from fender flare to tire:

    Passenger Front - 9 1/8"
    Driver Front - 8 1/2"
    Passenger Rear - 7"
    Driver Rear - 6 1/4"

Can anyone confirm that this blue wire under the driver door sill is the power wire for the fuel pump? I want to splice in a kill switch but I want to be absolutely sure this is the right wire before cutting anything

Thanks, looking forward to an update when you have one.
I have access to a 3D printer at the local library on Estes Park. Need to take their tutorial class before I can use it. This may be one of my first projects. I'm hoping the outer spacing plate could go thick enough to make room for switchbacks to fit behind without looking silly.

I feel like removing the sway bar after the lift made a lot of that "Taco lean" go away. I'm hoping it stays that with endend links

While waiting for my sway bar poly bushings to arrive, I drove up I35 for a 25 mile trip each way without the front sway bar connected and it was not an inspiring front end feeling at the highway speeds and dips in the highway.

I was very glad to get the bushings and the sway bar reconnected.

These trucks can give unnerving body roll even with the sway bar connected. Can’t imagine it without.

I buy cheap, and other than the 98 and 01, I assemble them cheap. I had the 2021 taco frame… leftover from an insurance job because of slightly bent arm mounts that’s already fixed

parts hunting is just a thing which makes things take longer. But it makes it affordable

Installed my new upper ball joints today. Odometer was 150038. I noticed the boot was leaking grease the other day when it was up on a lift, while we were greasing the drive shaft. So glad to have this behind me before winter get's here. Looks like a front brake job is next. Maybe start on it come Tuesday or Wednesday. My back and hands will have to rest up a couple of days. So Glad I have a neighbor willing to do the heavy lifting for me. He did 90% of the work, I just lend a hand and grab tools when needed. I honestly think the hardest part of this job is getting the boots on, what a pain.
