Has anyone had issues with their oxygen sensors. Mine apparently went out and i changed them with after market parts. They ran good for about 50 miles and went back to running bad. Do i need to get original Toyota sensors or can i use some from O’reillys or auto zone ?

Are you sure the original oxygen sensors were bad?

when i changed them it fixed my problem but only for about 50 miles. I have had people tell my i could not use aftermarket sensors have to go back with original or they don’t work. Just trying to figure out if anyone else has had the same problem

1st gen - it's got a built engine, a turbo, and waaaaaaay too much to list. 3rd gen - basic-bitch lift, S/C, Pro Wheels
Toyota is very picky about their O2 sensors. Stick with Denso, that's Toyota's OEM supplier.

X2 on Denso or OEM from the dealer.

Not Denso universal ones that you splice in. Denso that actually are plug and play.

What does this mean? Do you have trouble codes? If so, what are they?

Curious, as well because even a plugged cat, bad seal by the sensor or a pinhole in the exhaust can make them throw codes.
