    does anyone know how to remove backglass on 1st gen tacoma?
    or any links on how to remove it?

    Best tip is from the inside open the window. Then start in the middle top and use your fingers to roll the gasket down while pushing out. Once the top is done pick a corner and do the same. Will easily push out.

    I have done windshields before and replaced a convertible top on a cabrio which requires rear window removal but it should be the same for almost any window. Work from the inside. Get some thin rope like paracord rope, work it in around the inside edge of the rubber. Where the two ends meet make a tourniquet-like twist. Get it snug so the rubber starts to lift while GENTLY pushing out all around, starting at the corners. As you go break any sealant bead. Eventually one corner will start to pull through and it should come out easily after that. Much easier with an extra set of hands but one person can do it with sufficient amount of patience and verbal abuse.
