I went out to the Sierra Nevadas to fish and ride but ended just mostly fly fishing. These are my first California trout. The bike was a great way to scout promising spots though.

 

Like riding through a kaleidoscope.

NBD, today, 60 years later. Ibis Ripley AF, SLX build. I guess they were short on aluminum bars so I got carbon bars for free.

Yesterday: A nice 75° dry day.

 

If you’re a bike collector, maybe. If you’re looking for a $500 bike to ride, a newer low-end hard tail with an air fork, disk brakes, maybe 1x gearing and tubeless-ready tire and wheel setup (27.5 or 29”) would be a more rideable bike. In my opinion.

 

Ive got a Costco Northrock its ok... not really into collecting them. I think ill pass and get somthing a little nicer.

 

Did a long weekend riding up in Vermont in the Kingdom Area - we were about a week past peak foliage, but still awesome scenery non-the-less. Weather was iffy, but seemed to hold off for almost all the riding. Did about 20 miles each day with 2-3K elevation, legs are feeling it now.

 

Should have started an hour earlier. Got way too hot by 9 AM this past weekend!
