When you say electric assist is that the same as throttle by wire? I thought that was introduced in 03-04? Or did some 02s have it also?

 

I think Very few 02s had the iECTS. I think all 03-04 did.

it isn’t full fly by wire as it has a cable backup

 

so not compatible with my 04?

 

Just a feeler... but... What would you be willing to pay for a RTT, Awning, Front Runner racks, front and back? (minus the electrical items).
and drawer system / storage. ( I can't remember how difficult it is go get the drawer stuff out so with or without).

I’m not sure anymore…I’m not in this country and on the phone… so not sure if the original post has the throttle body that is the iECTS version, but if it is it should work with your 04. Probably can look at the photo and then yours to see if the left side looks the same with that flat small cover where the electrical motor is controlling the butterfly valve

I think @JasonLee is correct in his assessment on the TB. I bought a longblock off a guy that totalled his truck to have a spare/rebuild one. So yes, this intake manifold is not native to my 02. IIRC it came out of an 04 pickup, the intake manifolds are exactly the same except there is one less vacuum port on the upper section (would be for IAC on older model).

I’ll take it. I don’t have signs of my sway bar hitting the suspension, but I have a rare clunking noise that I’m diagnosing, so anything is worth trying to solve it.

 

Does the grill have any damage to the mounts? I'm very interested but won't be able to get down to the Springs until Friday.
