Dreaming of the exterior goodies while I focus on refreshing the actual important bits that keep old reliable, old and reliable. I’ve accumulated a few pictures of what I’d like to dress the truck up with eventually, but don’t know what/where/who makes these things. Looking for your alls expertise

    1. Is this a Trail Gear front bumper? (fuggin sweet truck)

    2. Found this gem built by @Rucas and can’t get it out of my head. My rear stock bumper is rotting and I don’t want to replace it with anything unless it looks like this. It’s *chefs kiss*. Does anyone make something custom like this? (fuggin sweet truck)

    3. Forget where I saw this now or whose truck it is, sorry for no @ , but love this location. Just wonder if there’s door interference. Any threads installing pods in this location would be cool (…fuggin sweet truck, trust)

Call me lazy but I just got rid of the side markers, and got led amber 194 bulbs and just rewired it for my turn signals.

^Yeah people came up with several popular methods over the past three decades, including drilling a hole in the sidemarker bowl for a 2nd bulb, or just mount two amber pod lights on the bumper at roughly the stock location.

Those TG bumpers with the low profile hoop are my favorite, I think they look way better than the taller hoop, although both styles are better than stock imo. Currently one of the things I'm wanting to get, but life keeps getting in the way of me being able to afford one

The no hoop looks cleaner but they are definitely worth having especially in such a long truck where most of your damage is gonna happen on that back corner.

Hey thanks for finding my rear bumper!
I don't think many others make one like that, which is why I chose to make it myself. It really wasn't too hard and could be done if you had the tools. A 2x3, the frame mounts, and a few 1.75 tubes bent. If you need any other pictures of the build process I can send what I can dig up

I agree, I think it’s because it visually follows the dimensions of the grille and doesn’t go beyond that top line. Just a really clean look that compliments the shapes of the old body style.
Yes that’s a fair point. I’d probably consider rear corner protection for that reason alone. Doesn’t look bad either with the rear hoops. I don’t have plans to do much off roading but would love both front and rear bumpers to protect from any bullsh that might happen out in the human wild :p
Hey Rucas thanks for the info! I’m definitely interested in pictures. Do you still have the truck?

Haha yeah I still have the truck. Getting up there in miles, I try to keep my build page updated with some stuff I do, but I also recently made an Instagram "onelessthirdgen" just to add more pics and updates to it as I go.
