Replace it with a harbor freight bottle jack?

Installed Ditch light brackets, lights (not wired up yet), and ditch light antenna mount all so I could install a Laird GMRS "No ground plane" antenna.

Problem is I would need it to lower the spare tire down too.

Yes you do need the extended rod/crank to lower and raise the spare. That is a fair price. Prob cost you that much at a junk yard if you can find one. If you have any lift then invest in an aluminum lightweight hi-lift floor jack.

Finally added the OE Transmission Cooler that has been in my closet for over a year. Nothing like a complete front end replacement to get you motivated. Along with this addition. I replaced the Spark Plugs, PCV Valve, thermostat, added a new radiator, transmission fluid, and filter, flushed the power steering unit, driver side steering linkage knuckle, wrapped it all up with a good wheel alignment job.

Brute Force, but I modified the bumper to accept new lights. Bought it in 2012 I believe.

The way I see it, the dirtbag landlord only has 3 options:
    (1) Pay for it out of his pocket
    (2) Report it to his insurance company and let them handle it.
    (3) Take 100% of the repair cost off your rent

Get an attorney. (if he picks number 1 or 3, pay a few hundred for the attorney to draft the agreement, don't do number 1 or 3 without an legally binding document or you’re guaranteed to get screwed)

I'd give him 24 hours to pick 1, 2 or 3 or you're going to "talk with your attorney" (he doesn't know if you have one or not). You might remind him that repairs alone are way less expensive than repairs plus court costs and attorney fees. Guys like that need a lesson now and then.

File a police report on him and communicate with your insurance company, don’t have them pay it as this is his fault. Worst case scenario take it out of your rent and file a civil suit, he’s an ass clown.

Finally got my winch and fog lights stuffed into the DV8 bumper I bought last December. 2 days later (this past Monday) a meth head ran a stop sign and blasted me square in the right front wheel and tire. Axle, all suspension and steering smoked, along with a tweaked (bent?) frame. Jerk doesn’t have insurance, but fortunately I carry great insurance. Hoping they don’t total it. Find out this Monday or Tuesday.

Are you just putting that cover directly on the steering wheel, or did you remove the factory cover first?
I have a (Redline) steering wheel cover for my wife's Subaru Crostrek but haven't bit the bullet yet to install it... I'm expecting to remove the factory cover first, per Redline instructions....

Anybody have a connection to buying a “new” lower “cushion” for a Sport drivers seat? The gray cover is available pretty readily but it’s the cushion I need, new not used.

I need to replace both front & passenger seat & back foam pieces. If I remember correctly, it’s 3 individual pieces(seat, back pad, & separate lumbar pad). You can find the correct part numbers here:

Must be something about the DV8 bumpers, the day after I finished installing mine, a moron blew a red and ran into my rear passenger tire.

Glad you are ok and hope your truck makes it.

The world is full of both idiot drivers and uninsured drivers. Idiots are just born that way. Uninsured is something that states allow which makes no sense to me. Just pay a $500 fee and drive. That is one reason that car insurance prices just increased 20% in many states. I am glad you were not injured. I am really sorry your truck was damaged. Damn shame you cannot own a nice truck without this crap happening.
