She feels the same as far as having another one, but I know she is contemplating future adoption if we can swing it and I'm quietly coming up with a plan to kabosh that idea right quick

Stephanie still thinks about adopting; I'm not against it

But it's so hard to really know how a kid is gonna feel about that, whether it's Theo or the kid being adopted

    Problem for Future Me

I really appreciate that offer. I am up in Canada so I’m not sure how well that’d work out, where are you in the US? I’m in bc so I wonder how far stuff would need to be shipped

i added a photo of the kit safe t cap makes, seems to cover all three sides so I’ll probably go with that

If it wraps around to cover top, side, and bottom then perfect

You'll then just have to make the little mount for the gas tank strap

And I don't know, never shipped to Canada.

I'm in CA in the US; you'd be my first Canadian customer.

But Safe T cap has been doing this for a long time and they've got all the custom cut and bent panels for all the problem areas.

I think it's probably the most admirable and selfless thing in the world to do, I wholeheartedly support it if that's what you both want. There are so many children that need good loving parents and family. If things were different and we couldn't have kids of our own, I would 1000% be behind the idea of adoption. After our miscarriage before River we did talk about that.

I just don't want three kids lol.

It'd be in some years probably when Theo's in school so he's at an age where socializing is big, and he's meeting lots of new people making it easier to 'share' a space.

Would like to believe he'd be a bit more understanding versus being 2-3 years old unless a child we adopted actually happened to be older.

    Man that's a tough one.

    Again, problem for Future Me.

Cause I mean, who really wants just 1 kid?

Especially if they turn out to be a spoiled rotten trust fund baby like someone I know

I wasn’t thinking with the concern of losing my gas tank but more of bending my truck in half, you think my main concern should be losing the tank?

Yeah there's definitely no rush where that is concerned and you want to make sure it's best for you, your family and the child you're adopting. From what I gather the process is extremely intensive too, as it should be.

But yeah, I know you know but parenting isn't so much about how you get there. It's about how you do it. You guys are awesome parents and if you do adopt, that child would be very fortunate to have you guys.

    I mean, those aren't even pictures...they're screenshots

Screenshots are super compressed and hard to make out

You're not at the truck you said? Just leave it alone and wait until you assess it yourself

But with a hole through the frame if that's what we saw earlier, I wouldn't drive it at all

    Appreciate that :fistbump:

What sucks though, is how long the process is like holy fuck...you have shitty parents that get to keep their kid(s) in a divorce/separation/etc. but adopting seems sooooooo much harder

We already have pre-filled documents and are somewhat aware as we actually jumped the gun and looked into it *in the event that we couldn't have kids* before she pulled her birth control

Then she was surprised she was pregnant right after and I was like "babe, I'm brown...I can hug you and bam, we're pregnant"
