Youth day was yesterday for deer before our bow comes in Saturday. kinda slow at the processing shop had 8,does and scrub bucks mostly farmland,but a guy called @ 8:00. wanted to know if too late to bring one in. they just got back from the mountain. his son’s first buck. pretty dang nice.

 

Congrats to him!

 

one more brought in today to process. the one from last nite had more fat than ive ever seen this time of year

Hard to tell if its just the sun/shadows playing tricks on me or not, but is that a big dead branch hung up there? Might just be the picture, but just a friendly reminder to all, whether climbing a tree or sitting under one, check for widowmakers before sitting under that fav tree of yours.

I see a little green at the top I think lol Hard to tell from just pictures, just give it a good look over before you go sit. Might just be the way the shadows are hitting it, but you definitely don't wanna be on the underside of a falling branch that big if it is a dead limb.

I looked, nothing but live branches, its been so dry the leaves are falling early.

I asked about the price for 1 hang on stand at a yard sale, they said “$20”
Then they asked “Do you want all 4 for $20?”, yeah I can do that
But ended up with 6 for $20
