Thankfully I am not that old.

 

Saturday mornings?
Not me.

All my tv time was from 3:00pm to 5:30ish.
5:30 was when my mom got home. Then I was outside until about 8-30.
We were not allowed to leave the house until mom got home.
Yeah, I stayed home by myself by the time I was about 8 or 9.
You could do that back then

Saturday mornings were either spent playing baseball or going some place.
If we were at home on a Saturday morning, I was a sleep.
There was no real “bed time” on Friday or Saturday. And you better believe this kid was staying up late.

 

Brah. The stone ages were fun.
You haven’t lived until you’ve been in a rock fight.

 

In the early to mid 1970's Saturday mornings were all cartoons, we would all go out and play in the afternoon and evening.

 

Did you miss the memo about me sleeping on a pile of rocks?

 

I refuse to acknowledge that thread ever existed…..

I remember all kinds of Saturday morning shows, HR Pufnstuf, Banana Splits, Lidsville, Sigmond the Sea Monster, Land Of The Lost, The Bugaloos, Bugs Bunny, The Pink Panther, Speed Buggy, Inch High Private Eye, Tennesse Tuxedo, Mushmouth and Punkin' Puss, Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, and lots more I am probably forgetting.

 

Love the old built in cabinets. My house had similar ones before we ripped the kitchen apart 8 years ago. Man what a bitch to get those off the wall!

 

I'm sure I'm one of the oldest here.

Cartoons were similar to what @shakerhood mentioned.

I know some of the 90s stuff too..Angry Beavers, Catdog, Ren and Stimpy..

@Stitchgirl90 at my neighbor's house earlier today...

 

@Stitchgirl90 's new landlady has probably close to twenty box turtles, and here is a picture that I took of a newly hatched specimen yesterday...

 

And some that I took just a few minutes ago...

 

Some of the larger ones, kept outdoors. Only the smallest turtles will be brought inside for the winter...
