Well yes, but actually no. Heating oil is basically offroad diesel. Oil companies around here are a minimum 150 gallons and are using a bio blend. I get 15-20 gallons at a time that isn't bio blend.

 

Cant turn ours on until the giant 30’ hole in the roof is closed off, otherwise heating the outdoors. Hubs and I have been rocking hoodies in the house.

 

You want the house to breath a little, right!

 

That's one helluva soffit vent

 

Knocked off some fall tasks today.

Pulled and washed all the screens and put them in the basement for winter.
Washed windows inside & out.
Cleaned gutters (inside & outside).
Purged air from my heating system (each run in every room has a bleeder valve).
Cleaned my dryer vent (disconnected from dryer and used leaf blower).

 

Or a big ole stink pipe.

 

I still got a bunch of stuff to do, but have been procrastinating. Mostly re-caulking the aluminum trim around some windows and the sliding back door. I have a Larson storm door I need to put on the man door on the garage, but it's gonna take some, uhhh, cutting...

They are coming at the buttcrack of dawn to pump the septic tomorrow. Nothing like the aroma of your own crap with your morning coffee

 

I'm exclusively using Big Stretch now for any exterior caulking. Stuff is amazing.

 

That's hard to find around here. I use Dynaflex 230. Seems to hold up pretty good.

 

I'm over here going "DAP... that's all I know."
