Its the year of the pike here in MN. Went up north for a last second fishing trip with a buddy. Was hoping to get some small mouth, but we ended up hitting pike all day.
Bonus it was 75 degrees out and sunny, strange for october 1st in northern MN.

 

so, I aint been,or caught nuthin for an obvious hot minute, so my two sons, and two friends, we went 61 miles offshore of ocean city and did this...fitty , for our limit

 

When is the fish fry?

Couple of weeks back:

 

I spy a big mangrove snapper? Second favorite next to sheepshead.

 

Been awhile since I popped in here so here's a few from over the summer.

 

I take it this isn't for ponds or aquariums?

 

Definitely not

 

unless you're pulling bass out of that pond with a fishin' pole

Got to go catfishing with my brother from AZ last night, caught a couple good ones. Thought they were channels, but they were brown (top picture looks grayish due to apple night picture thing) But the mouths were smaller than all the channels I have ever caught. Thought maybe they were just freakishly large brown bullheads but Im not sure on the anal fin.

Decided to head back down to Islamorada for fall break and do some fishing. Caught some Snook, I landed a baby Goliath, and we caught our limit on mangrove snappers. Made for a super tasty meal at the Loreleia for our last night in the keys. Everyone embrace the paleness that is my Hoosier legs!

 

then I'm ok with it! maybe start a new thread about your pond development and tilapia progress! i'd sub for that for sure
