    Stock for now but soon
hey guys, as you can see my rear driver side fender flare got fucked... My gf decided to take the truck into the drive through and you guessed it, hit the yellow pole at the back fender flare. Any chance you guys know how or what to do to fix something like this? I was going to call Toyota and see if they have a rear fender flare in stock with the blue crush metallic paint color that I could just install.

I was also thinking about the black flares but not too sure how it would look since I really like the stock ones that match the color.

Please let me know what you guys think.PXL_20231009_164552474.jpg PXL_20231009_181213061.jpg PXL_20231009_181230355.jpg

id start by detailing. use a clay bar to get the yellow and white paint and other surface contaminants off then really take a look to see how bad it is. then try and polish out some of the scuffs. if they are still there, id use some touch up paint on those spots and then compound/polish back the touch up.

if this method doesn't work to your satisfaction, you might be able to order a new fender flare already color matched.

looks like you dodged a bullet,,, could be much much worse.
It looks like the paint transferred from the parking bollard to your fender, so as mentioned, try to remove the yellow paint. Or take it to a detail shop, they can probably do a better job, for not much more than you can buy all kinds of stuff from the parts store.

I would leave it there and make a point of reminding her of her transgression every time she gets in the truck. I am in fact kidding.

TBQH, the front fender flares are in harms way and will get all beat if you take the truck anywhere near trees, underbrush, or rocks.

Swap out for the oem black ones. Or do both on the same side at the same time. If you replace just one chances are color could be off. Another option is send her back with the truck and have her rub the front one on the pole then they match, custom.

One more option might be to wrap all 4 flares.

I replaced my OEM fender flares with Bushwackers. Still have all 4 of them in the box the new fendies came in.

These OEM fenders I have are from a 2021 TRD Sport in Midnight Black and color match the body.

I've had one member here ask about them but I have yet to hear back from him.

If he doesn't want them, I can make em' available to you for shipment.

I imagine it will be pricey because it's a big box but without too much weight.

Do a comparison on new vs used and make an offer if that's what you want to do.

Oh interesting, I'll call around in my area and see what places can do and such before I reach out! I appreciate the offer though. If that other member hasn't gotten back to you about them, let me know!
