How’s it going guys, have a question in regards to tire size in relation to suspension. I purchased an 04 Tacoma 4x4 with 31’s and I believe the suspension is gone (front springs and strut assemblies) wondering with the rims being 16’s and the tires being 265/75r 16 do I need springs and struts to accommodate the new height? Or would stock springs and struts be ok? I e added a pic and I don’t believe the spring is supposed to be touching itself?????

That tire size can be run without issue in stock configuration.

spring is crakced. That is the factory tire and rim size any oe strut would be fine. Make sure you get the strut with a new spring and hat together.

You might be right about a cracked coil, those coils shouldn't be sitting on each other like that. I glazed past it thinking it was just a cheap aftermarket set. The 265/70 16 (31") was the factory size. 265/75 16 (32") is a popular upsize but still works perfectly fine on a stock Tacoma.
