Hot Wheels

You and me both. I find the best times to go are during the week to look. When I find something I really want it’s on a week day midday or evening. Everything is picked over on weekends. But it’s very rare I stumble across something cool or something I want.

 

I have absolutely no idea, i’m the wrong person to ask lol

 

These cars are all unmolested. I liked them as is. My brother in law used to have medium green 70 Torino GT that had the laser stripes. It was a fun car to ride around in. He is one of those guys who has a knack for finding great old cars and then sells them and I am looking at him saying to myself What the hell? Then he finds another. He had an orange 69 Road Runner to he sold.

 

This is a AMT 1/24 Toyota Hilux model I built a few years back that came out really nice

 

My dad had the 2wd American version 22re, an 89.. it said TOYOTA across the grill. They switched to the new emblem in 90. One reason I switch my grill out to the Toyota version on my sr, a nod to Pop’s old truck.

Another 1/400 post. Though I'm slightly torn. I waited six months for this model, and from afar, it looks good.


NG Models Saudia L-1011 next to my BigBird 747-100


Though there are a few QC issues that irk me.

• Missing front antenna
• Fingerprint fragment on the underside
• Smudged "Saudia" title on the port side

At this scale, I might be expecting too much. In some cases, I received models with fallen wings! But at the price they charge these, it's a little annoying.

On the brightside, it looks good from the starboard side.

 

Ya for real I always find last years stuff nothing really from this year

 

I am already seeing 2024 A and B cases on Instagram.

 

On a happy note, I found this Hot Wheels Alfa Romeo GTV6 in the wild.


Still hurts to pay two dollars for a mainline, but at least it's not scalper pricing. The wheels make it worth it.

 

It has an engine underneath the hood that does not open.

 

Traded one of the gold RLC chargers for this gem.

Quite a while ago, I found a blue 55 Chevy. My father in law loves 55 Chevy's to I bought it for him. Last night I was at their house and seen it displayed with his stuff. I grabbed it and started to look at it. I about shit when I looked at it. It has the mag wheels, the TH on the quarter panel and the gold stamp on the card. When I bought it, I never looked at it. That it the first STH that I have found.

 

oh damn looks like my old 90, except I had the matching Smittybilt bumpers on the front and rear! and the SR5 wheels on it

 

Not really my thing but it's up for trade

 

Learned something new today so I thought I would share.

Cases with ZAMAC cars apparently do not contain THs or STHs .

 

For serious? Thats wild, that should save some time in the future! Good info

 

That's what I thought too! ZAMACs are Walmart exclusive so there's that as well.
