Hey for those of you in the central part of the state or south, how are the leaf colors? I can't make heads or tails of things out here in the woods, but forecast maps say around WisDells is approaching peak. Trying to sort out what are real reports vs BS.

Get one with the shocks on the back, it gives people entertainment asking "what's the rebuild interval on your chair?" And they are comfy.

Hey guys, mind keeping an eye out for a used short bed deck system? I'm hoping to find someone to trade. I was given a f150 short bed (5'6" system) that's currently being stored in my friends 2018 f150.. because I have no space for it. Too many extra parts laying around

But if anyone knows of people who may have gone to a larger truck. Otherwise its time for some cutting... but I figured I'd try and swap or sell it and buy a used tacoma one. Couldn't say no for the price of free since I did have interest in trying one. However not cool that new a 5'1" one and an 8' one cost the same...

I second this as an owner of the Pod Rocker and the Kickback Rocker. They have several variations.

My liquid gold arrived today in time for a day off tomorrow. Have to meet with some contractors in the morning for work on the house, but my afternoon is free.

    PXL_20231009_235903151.jpg

At $100 a liter I was expecting the sweet old school looking can to put on the garage shelf, but got this crappy plastic bottle with an opening that won't fit my pump. Oh well, I'll have to transfer it to another container and make sure not to spill a drop.

Yes, I know I could have gone with Redline or Motul or something a lot cheaper, but I wanted OEM for this. As I once read elsewhere, you bought a $40,000 truck, why would you take a chance on oil just to save $50 on a job you'll likely only do a few times. That's not even a tank of gas.

Wait, I might be in the wrong thread... that's good financial advice, right?

Congrats on your liquid gold but too bad there's no souvenir can. Nothing wrong with an extra $50 for peace of mind, but do a Blackstone analysis next change and compare to all the ones out there (including mine with Amsoil) and see if there is a difference. Toyota's special sauce is good quality but it isn't all that special either.

Right, peace of mind. That means I don't have to do an analysis. I'd leave that to Toyota if I have issues, and they'll find I used their oil. I can't justify cheaping out on oil with what I spend on whiskey. :D

    I concur

    $100 a litre?

Now you got me curious, since I use the Toyota/BG stuff (via dealership). Used to run Amsoil... never had a lick of an issue.

Yeah, I called dealerships and they wouldn't sell me a liter. Guessing they have big drums of it or something? There are threads on here with long debates on the differences. I got tired of reading and just ordered the Toyota stuff. Figure I can't go wrong with it.
