Tricked out dents on the outside and custom love stains on the inside. To many citiations to count, but one hell of a sweet ride.
Start reading up on installing custom roms at xda forums website. themikmik.com is the best rom so far on the evo. It improves speed, performance, adds many features, and prolongs battery life.

If you plan on rooting, or just want to find new apps and things that you can do with your phone, and also fixes for problems you may have, head over to androidforums.com. That place has an amazing amout of info, and also made rooting my evo extrememly easy with step by step instructions.

    X2 on PDAnet...

Free wifi?? I don't follow. To make you phone a hotspot?

Some apps are a must for me are:

    Beautiful Widgets
    Angry Birds
    Battery Indicator
    Handcent for Texting
    Smart Keyboard paid version
    USA Today
    WeatherBug

To make your phone a free hotspot, you pretty much have to root it. Also, i found easytether to work better than PDA net, but thats just my opinion. With any wired tethering, you will lose close to half of your internet speed, simply because its wired. Root it, do the wireless tethering, and you will have full speeds.
