I had a family thing come up and won’t be in town on the 21st sorry guys. Keep me in the loop for other trail runs, if I’m available I’m 100% in!

So okay, I'm officially out...if I was ever officially in? :anonymous:

My Tacoma is not stock but, I really need some skid plates and rock sliders for this. I REALLY want to run this trail, I've lived here for years and never done it. When I can take a break from spending everything I earn on this new house (tile installer comes next week:spending:) and (new fencing last week :spending:) I'm buying skids and rock sliders....dammit! :ohsnap:

BTW Supr4Lo... Before I buy skids, I need my exhaust cross pipe re-routed. Who does this near us? Please?!

No problem, life happens. Let me know if you still plan on doing some exploration in November.

So anyone else? I'm not going to wheel this trail alone.

:spy: Done this trail many times. Its been a few years now tho. 33's and a 3" lift with sliders and skids will get you through. Like others have said there are bypasses on all the obstacles but 2. When you get to CK definitely get some of the jalapeno fudge from the shop if they have any.

I ran this at night,. north to south. 33's, skids and sliders were needed. Trail conditions are based on weather related erosion and use. It seems to change from time to time and can be a little different each time you go. It required 5 hours for me as I self-spotted which did result in a ding in one crossmember. My lovely wife will never go on that trail again lol. Wheeling here my entire life, I loved it. I don't r.un popular trails on the weekend, as I have seen large jeep clubs headed that way on sat sundays. This can add time to the trail if large groups stack up. There is a family/stock route if you stay on the old senator hwy and crown king trail. If you don"t feel your truck or skill set is up to challenge, nothing wrong with knowing your limitations. Again these AZ trails can be very difficult one day and just slightly difficult the next year. If your unsure, then stay away from Oro Belle mine. Look at a map, you will see the Oro Belle section. just south and west of crown king.

I'm sorry, I'm out.. I knew it would be a stretch and pinch on time with that trail.

Gotcha. I'll probably check it out soon and report back too. I'm on 33's with full skids but no sliders, so holding off on the main trail for now.

I have a few weekend in Nov i can make work, not sayin we should change the route but we did talk China Dam at the meet.? ALso might have less SXS, and perhaps less ppl altogether. Still on your side of town and we can get an early start if needed. Keep it a small list/rig cap like we did for Cherry Creek?

As far as CK it wasn't to bad of you took the bypass. At 15:45 you can see the last obstacle that didn't have a bypass that 2nd gens and up would run into a issue. And it's just a body with issue. Danny's got out of it under his own power with the help of som sliders. I did almost flop my truck goofing off. Earlier.

That spot at 15:45 is where people commonly have issues because of a bad line. Unless you have more ground clearance, you really need to go more to the driver side of the trail. There’s a dip that the driver side of the truck went into right at 16:00. That dip causes people to get hung up. Slightly more to the driver side of the trail and he would have been fine.
