    You just stated all the facts why I bought my wife a 4Runner. It doesn’t have all the fancy gadgets. It is slow but I’m old too. I don’t need speed at my age. This will be our last vehicle purchase. My 2 cents

    The search started with my wife needing something new but she’s indecisive and I have issues lol.

    It looks like the Grand Highlander market adjustments are dropping off already too so they might be back in the running for her, if we can ever test drive one.

    You make a good point. I just can’t get over how much Toyota is charging for an antiquated vehicle.
    Ha. We tried to look at a new Prius at the local dealer. They basically laughed at us.

    Damn, that’s pretty messed up. Which dealer? I usually just go to Jones Junction now and usually have good luck. They’ve been pretty down to earth, besides the Subaru dealer. Last time I went to Jerry’s, it was a goat Fk… they wanted to charge for nitrogen in the tires and tried to tell me how it’s better than air.

    Overall Toyota dealers are not impressive. To the point where the next vehicle I purchase might very well be a different brand. Maybe Lexus, but potentially not Yota, as great as the vehicles are.

    Good evening everyone.

    I need to visit Dave and try out some of those whangs.

    I started with my 3rd gen T4R and a 5x10 utility trailer. The 'runner pulls it effortlessly when loaded with firewood, I can't say the same about my Taco. It is convenient to have the 6' bed to snag a yard sale item, but if I fold down the rear seats in the 4runner, there is a lot of secure cargo space. I'm not playing the devils advocate, I'm just biased towards the 4runners. I keep looking at used 5th gen T4R's, the prices are just so damn high for rigs with 100K already on them. $600+/monthly car payments are out of the question, so I won't be getting a new T4R if I do it.
