What's your interest rate on the truck and for how much longer? Reality is that is you have a decently low rate on your truck and are anywhere close to paying it off continuing to make the payments might actually be the smarter deal. When I got my Tacoma in 2020 I found a certified pre-owned that qualified for their 1.9% interest rate. I'll just keep making payments for 2 more years at that rate. I've got money in a CD earning almost 5%.

I got my truck last November on a 60 month loan, but my brain is terrible with numbers. I think I'm right under 5%, like 4.8 or 4.9, but I can't swear to it. Total owed is a touch over $21K, again if I am remembering my last payment stub correctly.

They either didn't like the factory decals or those are new fairings. Be sure to check for damage underneath.

I'm struggling with being OK spending $4500+ on a 5+ year old bike when I can get one new for ~$6300.

A local dealer has a bunch of 2023 KTM RC390s for $6500 OTD (MSRP is $6k). The 2022+ models got a 3 axis IMU for lean angle traction control and ABS, lighter wheels and other upgrades. I'm really tempted to just get a new one vs spending $5k on a 3-4 year old model with a bunch of miles, questionable maintenance and none of the features the new one has.

At a certain point the bike just doesn't lose value. I sold my 07 gsxr600 for 4k back in 2012 with 18k miles. I see similar models with more miles for the SAME price. Its crazy.

But I think prices are going to drop as the economy starts to hit more hobbies. In the bicycle world companies are going out of business and slashing prices on the bikes due to ramping up too much during the pandemic and now have overstock.

Maybe the moto world isn't as bad since you still have a hard time finding ktm parts but it sure seems like waiting (or buying end of year) could get you a real good deal on new.

I will probably wait till end of year sales to see if I can scoop one up for under $6k new, though when I tried that with a Triumph dealer in January they were still unwilling to budge on 2022 models that they had tons of.

Rear is on and the rear master is rebuilt. Hallelujah I have full brakes and safety equipment again!!!

It does look kinda dorky with an 80/20 on the rear and a 50/50 on the front

I left my cabin first thing this morning then headed from WV up to PA. 7 hours of therapy today exploring Pennsylvania back roads. October is my favorite month to ride.

That's awesome! I'll have to carve out some time this winter to get the bike south for some riding. I don't think I want to not ride it for 6 months.

We're not really that far away from each other. Cowans Gap is only about 70 miles from me. Maybe next Spring do a Ride to Eat and meet up?
