I just got a 23 tundra last week and it still has that painfully small radio knob. And the steering wheel volume buttons are piano black. Well done Toyota.

The larger screen has a large volume knob below the screen between the air vents.

I just looked at a Tundra Pro in Terra a few minutes ago at my local dealership. Can’t agree about Inferno as I’ve never really been a fan, but I will say that Terra did less for me in person than I expected it to.

Oh yea, Toyota can keep all the digi cam balogne. It’s subtle enough. But once seen, it can’t be unseen.

Dude talks like an infomercial salesman, but the intake scoop is in an interesting location:

    upload_2023-10-8_21-14-57.png

Screenshot from earlier TFL video shows slits in the lower front area. The intake air enters through the front grille, over the radiator support via this little scoop, then into the air filter housing behind it. The hood forms the upper lid of the scoop. Since air is no longer drawn from the fender well, the fender liners can be removed for larger tires without worry:

So, maybe I am missing something really big... I was curious to get the info direct from the source, so I went to the Toyota web site to check out the 2024 model Tacomas, and they are not even listed. Only the 2024 Tundra. How are people getting the 2024 if Toyota doesn't even sell them yet?

They are not....they are not even in production yet. It starts in December for the for the 2.4T and in April for the 2.4T Hybrid. Right now people are just on list at their dealers waiting for allocations and pricing.

So the videos of supposed 2024's a few posts above are really a 2023 model?

I won't be buying a 2024, or possibly any new Tacomas in the future, as I don't want a 4 cyl. Especially not a turbo 4. I have had extremely bad experiences with the tiny little turbo's that go on small engines, they are too prone to failure for my taste. But I was just curious to see what new features the 2024's will actually end up with.

No, they are press units/pre-production 2024 trucks.

I wish this fascination with Molle panels would end. The tacticoolization of the door pockets is absurd. Lord knows that what I want in all the pockets everywhere that sometimes small things get put in is freaking holes in said pockets.

    Air intake is sweet though.

I'm not sure if we have actually seen a "real" 2024 yet. A bunch of use are waiting with baited breath to see if the material finish changes or not from the shiny plastic to a matte finish, so take everything you see with a grain of salt.

    And everything you hear lol.

Start of production for non-hybrid models is two months away. For hybrid models (and Xtra Cabs) half a year away. No "real" 2024 MY truck until then.

They are for drainage when you sink the truck ass-deep in water. The power seats may not like it, but the door pockets will :p

A trip information screen was also shown laying out MPG’s. Not sure how to read it but interesting
