If I could Photoshop, I'd add a few Zebras and a couple lurking hyenas to that last photo. And a David Attenborough voice over narrating the hunt...
Great shots of a WI landscape and terrain I've never seen!

Your kids are lucky to have someone so committed (or is that should be committed?).

Sunday may be OK, rain around here is supposed to end by evening on Saturday. Sure does sound tempting...

You know, these new tires may be garbage and I'd feel much better with my inflated sense of confidence if there was someone along with a winch...

    Lol

There's plenty of ways to get stuck, break stuff, or even roll over if you're not careful at that place. You should check it out sometime.

Yeah no... It's more of a playground with all levels of play.
It has the convenience of not being stuck by yourself miles from any assistance.

I made it over to the park last year before the lift and tires went on. So only had the 31s on. Wasn't my thing plus I was over during the week and just for the day. When I get a chance I'll be heading back to NF . found some new trails with hill climb.

I didn't expect to like it so much myself. But, the camping is pretty good. And, it's kind of nice to have such a wide range of difficulty in one area.

If you didn't find it challenging enough, then you needed to be more creative. ;)

Ahhhh...... the beauty of retirement age. The realization that your truck is gonna outlast you and the dents and dings will be your heirs problem. It's only "stuff," and can be fixed or replaced. The memories are priceless. Once you get out of your comfort zone, you soon realize what your Taco is capable of. Wheel with an experienced off-roader and your truck will (probably) come back with no damage.
When I was in Moab last week, a millennial from Colorado that never rock crawled joined my buddy and me on red trail. (Fins-and-Things) His friend was harping about the chance for body damage. My friend finally yelled," Don't listen to him, listen to me" and the guy cleaned every obstacle. He was concerned about denting his 4R, too. His ride was set up way better than my stock 4R. Higher lift, bigger tires, lots of lights, a locker. It looked the same afterwards.

Watching me climb the rocks gave him confidence in his trucks capability. Come with us sometime. If you don't feel comfortable doing an obstacle, take the bypass. My 1st time in Moab I bypassed a few obstacles and had a spotter on most of the others. My 3rd time out, we barely got out of the truck as I had learned what my 4R could do and that I had become comfortable in my abilities. But it was a big pucker factor getting to that point. Stuff I had squealed in fear like a little girl before, I cranked the tunes, lit a smoke and hit the gas. The learning curve is pretty steep. A lot of stuff looks "iffy". After you do it, you say to yourself, "Damn, that was easy".
Come with us sometime. You will have a blast, and learn a thing or two about what your truck can really do.

Yeah that's it ! I need y'all to show me what my truck is really capable of . You all just out class me when it comes to wheeling, not sure I can hang with y'all.

Not sure what the deal is in this thread the last couple days. Everyone is here for a good time. Come. Don’t come. Not gonna hurt anyone’s feelings.

Don’t really need to turn this thread into a dick measuring contest.
