I have a 96 tecoma 4x4. We have changed power steering pump and rack 3 times with the same results. As soon a you start driving it pushes fluid out of a threaded plug on rack. Any ideas? Been down a year. Lol

Sounds kinda like the return line is clogged/collapsed somewhere

I'm no mechanic but the lines/hoses are the only thing we haven't replaced. That was my next thought. Getting tired of buying parts. Seems like a power steering system as that would be simple.

Do you have a 4 cylinder or a v6, they have different lines, the 4cyl has a longer return line with a length of tubing used as a cooler that could clog. The v6 has a shorter and straighter length but could probably clog too.

Then you have two pretty short lengths of soft tube that would be worth changing and maybe try to blow compressed air through the hardline portion too.

If concerned about a blockage, could you take a line off and point it toward a bucket with the engine running? See if anything comes out?

I have seen a lot of shitty reman racks with fittings that are stripped out and lines bent, etc..
    But I know you've tried 3 already..

    Pictures of where it's leaking?

With reman parts it wouldn't suprise me at all to have multiple bad ones in a row, I had a car I had to put 3 racks in in like a month. They all leaked in the same spot, 4th one finally fixed it.
Also had a bad run with reman hydroboosts on dodge trucks, they all leaked in the same spot.

It leaks out of a flat plug and also into the boots on each end. Only seems to leak when driven.
