Ok.
Working on winter shit.
Going to pull the blowers up tomorrow I think..
Start prepping them.
Should post the repaired one for sale..

I'm still about 3 weeks from pulling the blower out. The low mile Tecumseh already has a cam that seems to be eating itself. Oil always comes out sparkly despite low hours on the oil. Might be due for a Predator swap.

Exactly what I was thinking. The only thing I can think of; the oil always comes out with metal. I've had Tecumseh engines before that never did that.

You can get white painted pre-2018 pro stuff and sell off the pro grill insert like I did to keep your TSS OEM grill. I got $200 for the insert so youd be out a few hundredish? (I assumed super white, not sure..) The grill swap is a pain in the ass but shit if I can do it anyone can.

May pull the snowblower stuff up today.
Do the check over this weekend and may install the winch on the tractor.
I do have a bower for sale so need to move on that..

Gonna get that spark plug today and see what happens. I didnt really let the blower run too long after putting the fresh gas in . So we shall see what happens later should I get me some Seafoam ? also I have to drive almost 30 minutes just to get a Friggen spark plug around here .

 

You can try seafoam.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Myself, I will try it on a repair and run a heavy 1/4 tank. If not, it’s no big deal, I just get another carb. They are like 10 bucks online. I try and get the adjustable hi speed needle ones.
3 years ago I bought 4 of them and used everyone that year.
So much easier than trying to rebuild.
I don’t bother taking them apart. You have to take it off anyway, and a kit cost money, so I just throw one on.
Like I said before, I have a plug cleaner so saves me that 30 min drive. If I throw a blower away, I save the plug. So I can test right then and there. Then, if I do need one, I don’t need a special trip. When I’m out and about then I pick it up.

 

I'm not going quite so far as to rattle can it, I've got the paint booth here at work with all PPG line products and a half pint of the white was $37... I've got the clear coat and everything else already here. Just gonna scuff and seal and spray.
