I do not need to upgrade to LED, given the cost, just yet. A supply of replacement halogens that are not at scalping prices (you KNOW who you are, people ) if I need to replace a halogen would be nice. But, just curious ... if you were selling, how much so I can avoid stealership prices?

I’ve figured out that means, at least with Lexus, that they charge about $1500 more and you get 2 yrs more factory warranty. One RX350 that was Certified, on a Lexus dealer lot, had a couple of broken tabs on one of the headlights. Oh, they also didn’t bother to vacuum the rear of the potting soil that had spilled onto the carpet at some point, not that free of potting soil is on the 150 point checklist but it’s an attention to detail thing for me.

Toyota's warranty is for 100K miles or 7 years. Comes with some perks like free roadside assistance and whatnot. But yeah, about the only small peace of mind is if the engine, trans or rear end went south. I'll sell it before it hits 100K miles so it added another 4 years on ours. It's transferrable too so it might give a little resale edge to someone looking to buy it in another year or two.

    Loved our RX350 BTW.

I see OE LED/halogens on FBMP and Craigs for all sorts of prices from $100 ea. to $500 for a pair. o_O I was fortunate to find a TW member that sold me his OE LEDs for $600. I was more than happy to pay that. Headed to his house to get them the same day! :burnrubber:

Rear diff was NOT happy after ~2" lift (fox 2.5's). Lots of vibes, lost roughly 3 MPG just from lift. Knew something was amiss so installed 3 degree shims. Worked wonders; no driveline vibes, got my mpgs back. Went out and murdered two tires on the trails. The front passenger side was shredded. The driver side rear was punctured, down to 6 psi before I added air. Couldn't plug the rip, but the leak was roughly 1psi every 5 minutes. It took a long time to get home lol. Nice to know the stock tires can deflate that far without slipping the bead. Clearly load C tires are not for me. Picked up some new wheels (SCS F5), now off to get some 285 load E KO2s. Let's see what I break next!!!

There was a single OE LED headlight for sale for less than $100 on FBMP for some time in my area. Only thing wrong with it was a broken tab, I'm sure someone with some skills could have repaired or done something with it.

I would part ways with R/L LED-Halogens for $200 ($100 EA). The shipping would probably be expensive...I have both in the boxes each LED came in.

No broken tabs or messed up wire connections. Pics would be posted if anyone is interested.

Shouldn't you divide the miles traveled by gallons added?
276 miles / 16.195 gallons= 17.042297... That's how I always did it manually. I think Fuelly does it that way too.

For long distance trips yeah...that's a good idea.

I drive about 10 miles per day, M-F for work. Then grocery shopping on weekends...maybe 7 miles.

On occasion, I'll drive to Baltimore or up north to Wilmington...maybe I'll do the math then...?

Mostly, I like doing the number of miles traveled/counted on Trip A.

Good catch. It’s miles per gallon vice miles per tank size. Don’t think I’ve ever drained the tank and then filled it.
