I feel okay with always able to turn on since I've always had some sort of ditch lights like that, and I think thats the easiest wiring right? If the other options are relatively easy to wire I'm all ears.

What ever your preference. All are easy as long as you know how to.

I know how to do the always on wiring. Is youtube my best option for learning the only on when ignition is on?

I have a 2015 tacoma that didnt have fog lights also. That circular cover does in fact come out so you wouldnt need a bezel. I was thinking and am still debating on if I should get DD SS3. I really like how they look and everything I heard its more of just a visual thing like I really like my red and black theme with the truck and I kinda feel like yellow would throw it off. But I have been told you can get a wiring harness off of cali raised and buy a switch from them. Thats what I would do, I still dont know if the yellow is gonna throw it off to much but a 8 year warranty is pretty good too.

Nope, EFi No2 fuse is IGN. But it also has the "feature" of a leak test after engine off. Might freak you and neighbors with ghost having lights ON after engine is off....

I think the yellow would look good. I'm planning on yellow because I drive in snow so much, and apparently the visibility is way better with selective yellow or whatever they call it... I was planning on getting a switch from calirasied. I wonder if I could put a caliraised switch on the DD wiring harness?

I think I'll just wire it as always able to be turned on. I'm pretty used to making sure they're off because of the pods on my old truck. Thanks for the help and advice about this

Add-a-fuse can also tap the Low beam(s) fuse(s) for an OEM behavior.

I bought the alpharex but I just had a whole issue with them with stuff missing and them not fitting, I liked the black housing it flew with the truck I am just not sold on how DD would look but everything else about them I am sold on. I think it would work with the Caliraised kit because on the DD SS3 in the description it says "Wire adapters are included to connect the lights to your factory bulb sockets - no additional wiring needed!"

Image attached is with alpharex fog lights

Good to know. Any recommendations for sourcing an oem style switch?

If you don't like the way the "fluted lens" SS3 fogs look, have you looked at the DD Elite series?

I like the way the SS3 looks my issue is the yellow lense. Like if it had a clear lense but yellow output that would be perfect. I am still leaning heavily on the SS3 though still

I think the yellow lenses looks sharp on red tacomas, but thats just me. There are some good photos on here/the internet in general. Maybe look at some other trucks to help make your decision
