I try to avoid Amazon as much as I can, but I finally feel like I got one of those too-good-to-be-true deals on there yesterday. Been looking for portable power that I can either use at home for power outages or for a 12v fridge in the rig. Pulled the trigger on an Ecoflow Delta2 with their 220W bifacial solar panel and ended up only paying $578 after promo codes and gift cards!

i was looking at the ecoflo stuff but i already have a jackery and like the quality. I thought about buying the 1000 pro/plus but didnt need that much power. The 700 plus will be perfect for me along with my 240 i have as well. That ecoflo should give you unlimited power. Hell my 240 powered my fridge for 3 days straight in wintertime lol.

Just gettin my butt whopped at work all semester. We're down 3 faculty. Had one retire, one got denied tenure, and one is leaving to go elsewhere. So here I am trying to pick up the pieces and make sure the students are still learning what they need to. Been working minimum 50 hour weeks, a lot of which I can’t even track. Don’t get paid for anything over 40 though.

    IMG_3782.png

That’s my hope! I was just looking for a 500-ish level version, but figured this would be really nice for when we lose power out here in the middle of nowhere. I’m gonna claim it on taxes since it’s billed as a “solar generator “.

There is a guy over in Huntsville that has some bolt on BAMF sliders in FBMP for $700. That would be a nice upgrade and actual sliders.

My bed liner for my cap came in. Now I’ve got to figure out how to pull the windows out and give it all a sand. Maybe by next year.

I'd be way less frustrated if I got paid any extra. I'm designing the spring show on top of teaching/mentoring students and running the shop and probably everything else, but still no news on my design contract yet. We always pay our outside organization designers for their work and I told them when they asked me to do it that I would only if I got the same contract. That was two months ago...

Sounds like you should stop designing  I know it's easier said than done.....just sucks when companies take advantage of employees.
