My buddy lives down there, I’ll have to see if he knows anyone who knows them as he’s always been in bands in that arena.

A lot of good bands are around that area. Spotify has helped me get somewhat more current in music, I was stuck in 2010 for too long.

 

Same, I started listening to Driveways (from eastern MA) from one of my daily mix Playlist. Bought tickets to see them and started checking out the other bands. Philly area is known for being a big punk scene area. My dad saw the Ramones in that area about 10 different times back in the day

 

I’ll give ‘em a listen then. I recently discovered that a kid I went to elementary with fronted a fairly big pop-punk / punk band. It’s awesome and also hilarious because he was the biggest R&B fan in elementary school.

 

They're suppose to have a new album coming out on Friday. It is funny how certain artists play certain genres but prefer others

 

You gotta say who now lol

 

Potentially going to see Brian Fallon in November. Another favorite of my wife. Not my usual but it should be a good show. All the way out by UMass

Just heard Powerman 5000 is playing in March and I ain't missing that.

Did you ever hear of the sad cafe in plaistow NH? Bands signed the wall when they played there. It was just dinky little high school bands, it was part of a church, fun shows not meant to be a big ordeal. They signed the wall there. When the heck they played THERE i don't know, but that was a double take to see that.

I wish I liked the Untitled album as much as the stans in the Blink subreddit. I like it, especially Always but Dude Ranch is my jam. The whole band changed with the Untitled album and I wasn’t ready to let the poop jokes go. I had seen them 2x prior to the release and it was a comedy show with some music but then the 2003/2004 shows were just so serious and somber. The first reunion show was nice to see them and all but they just weren’t into it in the same way.

Dance With Me is a bop, though. I’ll buy the new album the day it comes out, like I’ve done with every album since Take Off. They are my favorite band, still.

 

Not familiar with the place, but sounds prety cool. I still have a drum head signed by them. I'll have to check on that
