Picked up a bolt today at home depot. I'm thinking about calling and asking for some security cam recordings. Wwyd?

When I first started coming to obx you didnt need saltwater license. I have only been checked once and it was an undercover officer riding by. He walked up and was asking about fishing then said “Can I see your fishing license?” I said who the hell are you? He showed me. He was pretty cool about it.

Thanks man. I made it when I had my FJ. Just took some pvc pipe cut it, and bolted it to the cargo carrier. I also cut a notch out for the reels to set in. I’ve used it for many years.

Got one. Works pretty decent. I sprayed my frame with Amsoil's Mudslinger before heading out to the OBX. Nothing stuck and rinsed off pretty easy.

I don’t have a problem with pay-to-play, but then they turn around and close half the beach to ‘protect’ the piping plovers and sea turtles. What ya gonna do??? I’ve obeyed all laws when it comes to hunting and fishing so I’m not that jerk that gets busted without a license.

The recording won't do you any good. You would never see where the bolt came from. I see sloppy contractors trucks almost everyday at home depot and Lowes. A bunch of loose stuff rolling around in the back of their truck waiting to fall out. Just take it to a tire shop and get it patched. It's happended to me twice while parking on the contractor side. I park where the old ladies buy flowers and plants and push my cart farther. No more flats for me so far.

Same here. They will shut it down for birds and turtles. I have always held a license since was old enough to get them.

That’s a sneaky way to pinch a bolt. I’d just go back and pay for it. No need to see if they caught you on the cam.

20231002_153401.jpg 20231002_153438.jpg Couldn't bring myself to post, but here we go again. This is the 2nd time I've been rear-ended in 6 months. This one was last week by a 18 wheeler that fled the scene. Anyway, I just got the estimate ($19k) which includes new frame and a whole lot more. My question is in regards to options for aftermarket exhaust that would have a high clearance, such as some of the MBRP high clearance exhaust? I'm not looking for something loud, more replacement for muffler and high clearance exit. Thanks to all

Bummer... That's pretty bad there. A hit and run makes it even worse. At least you weren't injured
