Couldn't bring myself to post, but here we go again. This is the 2nd time I've been rear-ended in 6 months. This one was last week by a 18 wheeler that fled the scene. Anyway, I just got the estimate ($19k) which includes new frame and a whole lot more. My question is in regards to options for aftermarket exhaust that would have a high clearance, such as some of the MBRP high clearance exhaust? I'm not looking for something loud, more replacement for muffler and high clearance exit. Thanks to all

You can actually feel two positions in the switch in either direction, with the first position being manual control up/down and the second being auto up/down.

 

Last reported, rear windows that were not designed for "full auto" can be hazards because of the lack of pressure sensors for "auto close".

 

What does that mean in plain English?
Are you saying that the switch can not detect whether or not the window is closed and there will be undo pressure because of that? How is that any different from someone holding the switch after it’s closed/open?

 

Front window motors have pressure sensors to NOT close on items. Rear window motors do NOT have the safety-reversal sensors.

You can choke your happy doggies hanging their heads out of the rear windows.

 

Is there not an over-travel sensor?

 

What if you don’t own a dog?

My dog isn’t about that hanging his head out the window life and I usually lower them only when I’m parked and by the truck somewhere he can’t get out. I’ll make a point of making sure all appendages are clear when I auto-close.
