How can I remove adhesive glue from vinyl decal on outside of truck? I took the Tacoma Beast decal off both sides of my truck and now the glue won't come off.

i prefer goof-off to goo-gone. the solvents in it seem to be stronger and less watered down. but anything worth using is going to strip the wax off the surface.

    NOOOOO!!!!

Goof Off will quickly remove paint, clear, etc. I use it to remove paint logos on stuff. If I'm not careful it will melt plastic.

    WD-40 works pretty well.

For most adhesives, acetone will work and doesn't remove clear coat due to the high viscosity. Test a little corner of the glue spot to see if it is dissolving. I use that s*it to clean up everything. :p

Old fashion WD40 will do the trick, you actually should use it in a first place, then you won't have any adhisive remains.

    The wheel looks cool.
What keeps the wheel from just gumming up?

I'm a big fan of the 3M disks, I've used them on several of my last trucks. Two thumbs up.

Your local body shop supply store will have adhesive remover from 3M and several other similar products for industrial use. Large spray cans about $20, plus or minus. I just took of pinstripe adhesive residue 15 years old with a minimum of effort. The "better" versions of this kind of product are available in mostly rural states that do not have the govt restrictions. For example, can't get the better stuff in Colorado, have to drive across the border to Wyoming or Nebraska... Still, even using the compliant stuff, the products worked well and did the job.
