I Just can't justify it. We don't really camp enough and when we do 12v is enough for most everything. As for power outages at home I can just fire the generator up if its going to be out more than a few hours.

But, Once the 2 year old gets a little older and the wife doesn't mind venturing farther out I might end up with one.

I got mine more for power outages. We dont have anything like a generator. It will be nice to have along with the 240 for camping.

Man I saw several groups of them looked like they had everything they needed and were just cruising and camping the back roads.
That would be so much fun to just leave out and take all the scenic roads and twisty mountain climbs. Then pick a spot for the night just to do it all over again the next day.

I would love to do a motocamping trip. I have even found a small fridge for my insulin :D I really wish I had the funds to buy another bike so that I could have an extra for a buddy to tag along. I plan to buy another bike in the nest year, but I really want a more street oriented one. Maybe the market will crash and used prices will get to the point I could pick up a used sport and dual for the price of a single used one now

That's a huge tent. I like those and the Wingman of the Road tents.

I have a US Marine combat tent that would be perfect for moto camping. it packs up into a bag that's about 6" round and 10" long.

I'd want as small as possible and lightweight. I road with about 40lbs in my backpack the other day and had forgotten how differently bikes handle when that much weight has been added.

    Something like this at 2.6lbs
