But talented. I think they get back in the playoffs after missing a year. If they stay relatively healthy, which is where age can come into play.

Keegan Kolesar showed up at my son's hockey camp yesterday with the cup, probably just to flex on Ryan Reeves and Seth Jarvis who are also training there.

Lots of new Pens, same old results. They don't seem to like keeping a lead. Maybe it's Sully? Top two lines played a significant amount more than the bottom 6. Maybe they are wore out by the 3rd period.

 

Pens are the oldest team in the league

 

Yeah. Has to have something to do with their inability to hold a lead. That or Sully's coaching strategy. Or maybe Jarry?

 

I think you have bigger issues than age when Sids fighting in the preseason. All credit to him but seems like a lack of locker room mojo. Unless hes been taking snapshow lessons from Mackinnon

No team is a lock for anything! Still lots of holes in the Oilers' D..

 

I've got my fingers crossed the wings can at least be competitive to make it back into the playoffs.

Also kind of disappointed in the bruins for giving Marchand the C. To have that dirty of a player follow up Bergeron is an insult.

 

I don't particularly love or hate the Oilers as a Leafs fan, but watching TO play a game with many mistakes and shakey goaltending only for Leafs to overcome it with a great team effort after the failures was a hopeful sign this Leafs team is different than last year's. The lack of pushback from the Oilers in game one with all the hype is extremely concerning.
